Project Olympus 2021 contest to begin in March

The Analytical Center announces the beginning of the 8th annual professional project management contest, Project Olympus 2021.

The applications will be accepted starting March 20, and a webinar will be held the day before at which Head of the Analytical Center’s Department for Project Management in the Public Sector Ilya Vinokurov, member of the competition organizing committee, will speak about the 2021 contest.

“The goals of Project Olympus do not change - they are support and popularization of methods and principles of effective management, but the tools of such management are constantly being improved, and many interesting solutions and approaches have appeared in recent years. So we are expanding the focus of the Competition. This year, it will include the strategic and lean management tracks, optimization of business processes, customer-centricity,” Vinokurov said. “We hope that the Competition will preserve its position as a platform for the accumulation and exchange of best practices of effective management”.

It should be recalled that the Project Olympus winners in various nominations last year were the Department of Process and Project Management of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Project Department of the Administration of the Head and Government of the Udmurt Republic, PJSC Inter RAO, PJSC Mining and Metallurgical Company Norilsk Nickel, the Department of Culture of the Belgorod Region, the Economic Development Department of the city of Sevastopol, the Russian Pension Fund Division for the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Government of the Belgorod Region (the Internal and Personnel Policy Department of the Belgorod Region, FSAEI HE Belgorod State National Research University and Budgetary Institution of Higher Education Surgut State University).

In 2021, the organizing committee expects at least 200 applications for participation in the competition to be submitted. For the participants’ convenience, the receipt of applications and reports will be organized online on the Competition website.
