The Expertise Center has assessed five main parameters of 2020 that characterize production, use and influence of artificial intelligence technologies. These indicators demonstrate the share of Russian publications on the subject of artificial intelligence, their citation, as well as the share of Russia in the global high-performance computing market and investments in domestic startups. By the way, the assessment shows that the amount of investments in Russian AI startups grew by more than 2.5 times to 1.6 billion rubles from 2019 to 2020. In the opinion of experts, keen attention to the development of artificial intelligence will lead to further growth of investments in this field of activity.
