Measures supporting the railroad industry vary from one country to another, and there is no standard way to be followed, expert Alexey Safronov from the Analytical Center’s Department for Transport Economics and Development told the Pult Upravlenia outlet in comments on the Analytical Center bulletin on countering the coronavirus impact on railroad transport.
The use of “intelligent” electric energy meters will enable consumers to telecommunicate the meter readings to power supply and distribution companies; housing owners will no longer have to transmit meter readings themselves, the Analytical Center expert Oleg Kolobov told the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper.
The goal of raising the proportion of quality roads in urban conglomerates to 85% has been shifted from 2024 to 2030. The baseline is 2019, with 46% of quality municipal roads. Earlier, it had been planned to have raised the indicator to 60% by 2021, and constituent territories of the Russian Federation estimated it at 60% at the end of 2019.
“Markets have been awaiting transition to the next stage of the OPEC+ deal. According to most forecasts, a slight recovery in production amounts will not lead to a drastic change of the market situation,” research head at the Analytical Center’s Department for the Fuel-and-Energy Sector, Housing, and Public Utilities Alexander Kurdin told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
