Reducing global role of coal is world development strategy element

The main theme of the new Energy Bulletin issued by the Analytical Center is the situation in the coal industry. At the beginning of the 19th century, coal accounted for more than 90% of the world's fuel and energy balance; by 2040, experts predict a decrease in its use to a quarter of the fuel and energy balance and more. Reducing the role of coal in the world is not just the actions of different energy companies, but an important element of the global development strategy.

“The main goal of the resolution on prejudicial appeals is to lower barriers for both controlling agencies and service consumers,” Analytical Center project head Konstantin Tsvetov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta, as he was commenting on the government resolution drafted by the Economic Development Ministry together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Analytical Center.
