Export revenue of Russian metallurgical companies on decline

Rossiyskaya Gazeta has quoted a statement by head of the Analytical Center's Department for Economic Sectors Grigory Mikryukov. "A higher demand for Russian metal on the global markets is unlikely. The general slowdown of the global economy slashes demand for raw materials, including metals, and has a negative effect on prices. Export revenue of Russian metallurgical companies is declining even if the volume of their exports is unchanged," he said.
