“Prices of gas exported on the basis of Russia’s long-term contracts depend on oil products prices. With the oil price around $110 p/b Gazprom was selling its gas at the price of $400-400 plus per 1000 cubic metre. Now the oil price is around $65 p/b, so the gas price around $240 is well founded. These are the numbers forecasted for this year but the Ministry of Economic Development that is why they are coherent. They go well with Gazprom’s policies,” said the Head of the Department for Strategic Studies in Energy of the Analytical Center Alexander Kurdin to the radio station “STOLITSA FM
