Turkey is in need of cooperation with Russia in the sectors of economy and technologies, but mostly in the energy sector, according to Mr. Grigoriev. “They need energy in Bosporus and Istanbul regions, that is why they are good with the Turkish Stream,” said the expert. “The Turkish Stream is not Mr. Erdoğan’s project, despite some political analysts’ points of view; it is just a profitable project.”

The expert considers this cooperation as a totally profitable one for Turkey.
