Other companies, influenced by sanctions of the European Union Council, may go to the Court of Justice of the EU, experts believe. “It is primarily valid for western companies, interested in Russian fuel and energy sector”, commented this situation Head of the Department for Strategic Studies in Energy of the Analytical Center Alexander Kurdin, while being interviewed by “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” (Russian Gazette). “They sustain financial losses at least because of the stock price depreciation”.

Russian companies will have to deal with international regulatory environment, and there are no airtight arguments neither “for” nor “against”, the expert believes.
