The results of such ratings are to be made public annually by the 1st of May.
The Krasnodar region, the Belgorod region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kaluga and the Novosibirsk regions are at the top of the rating of competitive environment development
Head of the Directorate for Competition Policy of the Analytical Center Tatyana Radchenko explained that the FAS Russia presented its work on the rating of regions during the roundtable that was held at the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation.
«According to the first calculations, the Krasnodar region is one of the leaders (well ahead of others), followed by the Belgorod region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kaluga and the Novosibirsk regions. The Amur, the Ivanovo, the Kurgan and the Astrakhan regions are listed among the outsiders. It is notable that Moscow was ranked the 8th and St. Petersburg – the 13th”, Radchenko told «Nezavisimaya gazeta». The rating was based on the statistics indicators of construction and reconstruction markets, major highway repairs market, vehicle petrol retail markets, and specific types of insurance markets, including compulsory pension insurance.
