In the interview given to Vestnik Kavkaza Mr. Gasho noted that a few years ago he was engaged in the development of a program for energy saving in the Krasnodar region. “We were looking through the financial statement, gathering the statistics and of course, the situation was not an easy one”, - said the expert. First of all, according to him, there was a great shortage of external resources depending on the market region, that was having a significant affect on both people’s lives and the economy in general.

Furthermore, the expert added that there were some limitations in energy supply in the resort area: “Every summer 5 to 8 families were accommodated in houses together with the families that owned them. This led to a shortage in electric power supply forcing the electrical engineers to simply turn off the electricity in summer daytime”.

In the present in the areas where new electric power generators were installed, the situation became better. For example, this was done in Sochi. Mr. Gasho expressed the hope that similar changes will occur in the south seaside – in the areas of the cities as Anapa and Armavir, as the power shortage situation in that region needs to change as well.
