“Rossiyskaya Gazeta” refers to the statement of the Head of the Directorate for WTO Policies Inna Dudykina that nowadays 18 countries are using 79 restrictions regarding Russian products as follows: 38 antidumping, 5 with special protection, 36 non-tariff (taxes and fees, technical and administrative barriers, etc.). According to Ms. Dudykina, a great number of goods, mainly from chemical and metallurgical industries, for which Russia had high hopes regarding exportation prior to joining WTO, fell into disgrace with the foreign trade partners.
