The forum is supposed to kick off joint efforts by all interested parties to effect real improvement in the environmental situation in Russia and other participating nations, with the most representative international and Russian professional expert community being involved in said efforts.
The final documents of the Global Forum will be presented as a set of proposals for a long term waste management development program for Russia, based on international cooperation. The program will be submitted to the Russian Government. The coordination council for the implementation of the resolutions of the Global Forum based on the IPLA-Russia expert venue will be in charge of coordinating the program with the Russian Government and legislators.
