Round table "Russian open data portal: development requirements' formation"

Development of the system of open data is one of the key areas in the field of improving the system of state and municipal management by increasing the transparency and accountability of public authorities, as well as the policy of informatization in Russia. The process of the readable public data disclosing was launched by the Presidential Decree № 601 "On main directions of improving the system of governance" dated May 7, 2012.

Under terms of the Concept of open federal executive bodies, adopted under Decree of the RF Government № 93-r dated January 30, 2014, open data is considered one of the most useful formats for searching, processing and further use of open, publicly available and reliable information.

During the roundtable experts will review the current state and the development requirements' formation of the RF open data portal and discuss the updating of technical requirements for the publication of open data to version 3.1 and guidelines on publishing the open government data by state bodies and local authorities.
