Conference on "Industrial policy of regions: stability, import substitution, new reserves of development"

The thing which is more important than ever for the future of Russia is the development of the domestic industry and the energy sector in the nearest years. Federal and regional industrial policies are aimed at ensuring economic growth, the development of new capacities and competitiveness, import substitution and modernization, generally speaking - ensuring the quality of life, employment and welfare.

One of the qualitative characteristics of the industry is the increase of energy efficiency. Processes of innovation and modernization, reduction of production costs, manufacturability localization, competitiveness with the rational use of resources are necessarily accompanied by a decrease in specific energy consumption.

Industrial companies are motivated to reduce energy intensity of production and invest in modernization. They are looking for new markets and are ready to contribute to the modernization of other sectors, producing equipment and materials. And synergy with other stakeholders is important - with the government, energy suppliers, investors, research institutions.

The conference participants will discuss current needs of the domestic industry, needed to modernize, improve the dialogue between the industrialists and the government, banks, authorities, and consider practical solutions and discuss the best cases and examples.

The Analytical Center will bring together representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Russian industrial enterprises, international institutions of industrial development, banks and investment institutions, professional societies in the field of goods and services to improve energy efficiency.

The conference is organized by the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation.
