Deputy Head of Analytical Center Vasily Pushkin will be a moderator of the Panel Discussion on Lean Technologies as the Foundation for Transition to Digital Economy and Digital Government, to be held as part of the International Summit on Smart Production Systems. The summit will be hosted by Imeretinskiy Hotel Congress Hall, Sochi, on 6–7th April, 2017.
Participants will focus on the use of lean technologies and technical capabilities of the Internet of Things (IoT), digital industry by manufacturing plants, higher education institutions, financial institutions and government authorities and local governments for the improvement of product and service quality and performance for the benefit of individuals.
The summit participants include representatives of the famous global brands, such as Hitachi (Japan), Renault (France), Toyota Engineering Corporation (Japan), SENCON Logistic (Japan), Siemens (Germany), which already use the most recent technical achievements of industrial revolution 4.0 and the Internet of Things and will share their experience.
The representatives of administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local governments, heads of leading higher education institutions and manufacturing plants will participate in discussing issues related to public-private partnership with the aim of creating the basis for digital economy, shaping individuals feedback mechanism, developing and improving the quality of public and municipal services, as well as the possibility of using lean technologies and Agile for these purposes.
The issues to be covered by the discussion related to the use of technical capabilities, becoming available due to the fourth industrial revolution, with the aim of enhancing the performance of government authorities and local governments, raising the quality of public and municipal services, reducing the time limits for managerial decision-making, etc.
