Experts analyze the regulation of fuel and energy sector in Russia and abroad

Experts of the Analytical Center have established a series of quarterly reviews on the regulation of the fuel and energy complex in Russia and in the world. The first review analyzes data for the IV quarter of 2014.

The review includes current changes in the regulation of fuel and energy complex in Russia and in the world, which have occurred in the IV quarter of 2014: customs duties on oil and oil products for export from Belarus, gas supplies to China by "eastern" route, support for investment projects in the energy sector, etc.

Specialists discuss in review major planned reforms, namely the abolition of control of price on CNG, the concept of intelligent metering system and first  requirements related to power and standardization of payment rates for technological connection to the power grid.

International sanctions also have not gone unnoticed. The review describes current key reforms in the global energy sector in the light of innovations and the expected consequences, and possible effects on the economy and fuel and energy complex of Russia.

The Moscow Oil and Gas Center EY participates in the preparation of the publication.
