“Analytical Center has developed proposals for creating a system to attract extra budgetary funds for energy efficiency improvement projects in the public sector”, - said the expert of the Analytical Center Pavel Svistunov at the conference titled “Energy efficiency and energy services 2014”.

Pavel Svistunov participated in the session “Energy efficiency in the public sector” where he presented a report on “Creating a system to attract extra budgetary funds for energy efficiency improvement projects in the public sector”. He pointed out that the main financing actions taken to increase energy efficiency in the state program “Energy efficiency and the development of the Fuel and Energy Complex” were based on extra budgetary resources but the volumes of funds provided by investors were below planned. “The Government of the Russian Federation assigned the task to remedy the situation to the Analytical Center which elaborated several proposals for creating a system to attract extra budgetary funds for energy efficiency improvement projects in the public sector. These proposals were supported by investors and finance companies, and at the moment they are being discussed together with the federal executive authorities”, said the expert.
