Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation has become the Competency Center for Digital Transformation within the framework of the implementation of the digital agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union by the Russian Federation.
"The EEU Digital Transformation Competency Center will provide expert, analytical and methodological support to the Russian government, the Ministry of Communications and other concerned authorities in making decisions and adopting measures to implement the digital agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU)," said Mikhail Pryadilnikov, the head of the EEU Digital Transformation Competency Center, Deputy Head of the Analytical Center. "Moreover, the Competency Center is tasked with formulation and accumulation of experience in the EEU's digital transformations, becoming a platform for all participants in the process, and, above all, for the expert and business communities."
The main goal of the Competency Center is to develop and adopt a national mechanism for the implementation of the coordinated policy of the EEU member states when implementing plans for the development of the digital economy in such areas as digital trade, digital transport corridors, digital traceability of flows of products and goods in the EEU (including labeling), etc. All of them correspond to the national goals and objectives set out in the strategic documents of the Russian Federation.
The Competency Center will also contribute to the formation, accumulation and dissemination of new competencies, knowledge and practices necessary for the effective implementation of the digital transformation tasks in the EEU.
