On December 01 Yegor Borisov, the Head of Yakutia, held an extended meeting on implementing the program on the territory of the Republic, during which he heard information about the implementation of the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" in the Republic and prospects for the digital transformation of the region's economy, the creation of a modern information infrastructure, and the introduction of digital technologies to all branches of the economy.
Mr. Kislyakov noted that following the results of the event the Head of the region Yegor Borisov gave a number of very important instructions for the implementation of the program for the introduction of the digital economy in Yakutia. "We will appoint a responsible head to fully coordinate this area. An instruction was given to develop specific roadmaps and action plans for each area of the digital economy. The most important thing is that evaluation mechanisms will be included into the evaluation of the activities of public authorities, depending on how they implement the parameters and activities of the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation", he added.
Mr. Kislyakov supported the instruction of the Head about the need to provide citizens with information about the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation", about its goals and tasks. "It is extremely important that everyone understands potential benefits and advantages of this program," he said.
In addition, the expert noted the tasks that need to be solved by joint efforts with the involvement of the federal budget, first of all, on the development of infrastructure. "These tasks are set today and will be reflected in the program," assured the Head of the federal project office.
We remind that the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" was developed on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and approved by the Government on July 28, 2017. The program consists of five main areas: Statutory Regulation, Human Resources and Education, Development of Research Competencies and Technological Capacities, Informational Infrastructure, and Information Security.
The main objective of the program is to create an ecosystem of the digital economy of the country where the digital data is a key factor in production in all spheres of social and economic activity and which ensures effective interaction between business, scientific and educational community, the state and citizens.
