Jury of the Best Information Analytics Tools 2017 Contest Approves Six Nominations

The Analytical Center has hosted a meeting of the jury for the Best Information Analytics Tools 2017 Contest. The jury members discussed organizational issues, approved the methodology for holding the contest and the contest nominations. "This year we're holding the contest for the second time," Head of the Analytical Center Konstantin Noskov noted. "The jury announced six nominations, three thematic ones and three technology nominations and now we're looking forward to receiving applications."

Applications will be accepted from 1st July in a test mode, Deputy Head of the Analytical Center Galina Chinarikhina explained. Past experience suggests that multiple consultations will be needed to help with filling out the applications to ensure that experts and the jury can make a comprehensive assessment of each project. That's what the test period is for. Starting in September it won't be possible to edit applications after submission.

The jury has approved the following contest nominations:

-Technology nominations:

Best Information Analytics Solution for Processing Structured Data

Best Information Analytical Solution for Processing Multimedia Information (video, sound, images)

Best Information Analytics Solution for Expert Assessment of Legally Significant Documents

-Thematic nominations:

Best Information Analytics Solution for Healthcare

Best Information Analytics Solution for a Smart City

Best Information Analytics Solution for Construction Management

In conclusion, the Deputy CEO of SAP CIS Dmitry Shepelyavy presented the jury members with the findings of the study “Prospects of Russian IT Solutions on the Global Market” conducted on the initiative of SAP and with the support of the Analytical Center, and in partnership with the RUSSOFT Association and the Association of Innovation and Technology Brokers.

The study aimed to find out as much information as possible about the export potential of the Russian software industry and the ways in which this potential can be tapped.
