The Analytical Centre invites representatives of regions to discuss proposals on standardization of approaches to publication of the most popular regional open data sets.
“Regional open data sets will help to create applications and services useful for people. However, there is a significant and important condition: the information should be published in a standardized form and machine-readable format, “said Mr. Vasily Pushkin, Deputy Head of the Analytical Center. The Analytical Center has already made the first step in this path: experts analyzed the demand and founded out that the most popular open data sets were in the fields of education, transport, real estate, urban planning, governmental support, employment and social protection, environment, healthcare, culture, sports and leisure.
The next step will be an open public discussion from February 22 to March 13. Its purpose is approving lists of users for each set, so-called 'attributive composition'. Discussion results will become the basis for information and analytical materials that will be sent to the Open Data Council of the Governmental Commission for Coordination of the Open Government Activities for consideration.
To take part in the discussion, please download and complete the form and then send it firstname.lastname@example.org specifying in the subject line “Public Discussion of the Attributive Composition for Open Data Sets”. Please specify contact details (your name, position, job place, phone, and region of the Russian Federation) in the cover letter. Please note that only letters with specific contact details will be accepted for consideration. You also can express your opinion in the group Open Data in Russia at Facebook.
