Winners of the Proyektniy Olimp–2016 contest announced

The Central Bank, Avtodor State Company, Project Management Departments of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Primorsky Krai are the best project managers in the public sector. The winners of the professional project management in the public sector contest “Proyektniy Olimp” have been announced.

The first day of the conference “Practice of Project Management in the Public Sector” that was the final stage of Proyektniy Olimp–2016 is over at the Analytical Center. The ceremony of rewarding the winners became the day’s main intrigue.

The jury chose the best in the key contest categories as being:

·         The Central Bank of the Russian Federation in the “Systems to Manage Projects in Federal Executive Authorities and their Subordinate Organizations”

·         Project Management Department of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Ugra in the category “Systems to Manage Projects in Regional and Municipal Authorities and their Subordinate Organizations”

·         Avtodor State Company in the category “Systems to Manage Projects in State Corporations, Companies Partially Owned by the State and Development Institutions”

·         Project Management Department of Primorsky Territory in the category “Organization and Operation of Project Offices by Regional and Municipal Authorities and their Subordinate Organizations”

·         ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL JSC in the category “Organization and Operation of Project Offices in State Corporations, Companies Partially Owned by the State and Development Institutions”

·         ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL JSC and Setevaya Kompaniya OJSC shared the 1st place in the “Integrated Project management System” category

·         No winner was selected in the “Organization and Operation of Project Offices in Federal Executive Authorities and their Subordinate Organizations” category.

Among the winners in special categories we note:

·         Chuvash Republic Department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the category “Project Management in the Pension Fund System of the Russian Federation”

·         I. I. Afrikantov Mechanical Engineering Design Bureau in the category “Project Management System in Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation”

·         State Unitary Enterprise “Saint-Petersburg Information and Analytical Centre” and the Samara Regional Department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the category “Flexible Approaches to State Projects Management”

·         No winner was announced in such categories as “Organization and Operation of Project Offices Aimed at Improving the Investment Climate”, “Best Electronic Government Projects in the Russian Federation”, and “Project Management Systems in Integrated Organizations”.

The panel discussion has taken place today, November 2. Tomorrow, on November 3, the Conference will offer round tables on flexible approaches to state projects management, prospects of project management development in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and other topical issues of project management.

The Proyektniy Olimp contest was held for the third consecutive year. The organizers note increasing interest in the project. In 2016, they received more than 120 applications from all over the country for key categories only. It took assessors more than a month to have face-to-face interviews with the applicants. Late in October the final jury meeting took place to select the winners.

This year’s partners of the contest are Sberbank PJSC and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.
