He emphasized that artificial intelligence is beneficial for business, the state and citizens because it is used to automate the decision-making process. "Either the system itself makes an algorithm-based decision or the person does it based on the tips made by software," Mr. Onishchenko explained.

According to him, artificial intelligence may be beneficial for many industries. Thus, in the financial and banking sector, which is already saturated with digital technologies, their useful output may reach up to 10%. "In other areas where technologies are being introduced slowly, the prospects for material benefits are quite great now and in the coming years. These industries include trade, construction, industrial production, mining," added Mr. Onishchenko.

The public sector is also ready for the introduction of artificial intelligence, which has already become an active tool in some areas. "They include tax planning, and a risk-based approach in supervisory activities, and transport planning" the expert explained. "Moreover, technologies are being introduced both at the federal and at the regional level. I think that more than 50% of departments will somehow use artificial intelligence by 2024."

According to Mr. Onishchenko, the task of the state is to learn how to set tasks for artificial intelligence to solve certain business processes and to collect the necessary data array for its self-learning.
